Plot / Storyline:

Sinbad and his pirate crew attempt to steal the magical “Book of Peace” and keep it as one last job for ransom before retiring to Fiji. Sinbad is surprised to see it being guarded by Prince Proteus of Syracuse on board for Syracuse, Sicily. As a child Proteus was once Sinbad’s best friend and he tells him that he can prove it if it ever means anything. Sinbad tries to steal the book anyway, but is stopped when Cetus attacks the ship. The two work together to fight Sethu and reaffirm their bond for a moment. When the beast appears to have been defeated, Sinbad is pulled from the ship. Protean goes to save Sinbad, but is stopped by his crew. Dragged underwater by Cetus, Sinbad is saved by Eris, the beautiful goddess of discord, who offers him any boon in exchange for a book of peace. Sinbad and his team go to Syracuse to steal the book, but leave without doing so. Anticipating this, Eris impersonates Sinbad and steals the book. Sinbad is sentenced to death, after which Proteus sends Sinbad to retrieve the book, holds himself as a hostage, and Proteus’ fiancée Lady Marina visits to ensure that Sinbad succeeds. Ho.
